New year-round marketing to families!

The Family Arts Conference saw us announce the launch of a new year-round website and marketing campaign promoting the arts to families. The project will replace the national Get Creative Family Arts Festival, which has taken place during October since 2013.

Why go year-round?

Over the course of the Family Arts Campaign we’ve seen the arts sector further improve and increase its offer to families, embedding family arts as an important part of overall arts provision in the UK. This project will now make the vital move to promoting family arts not just as a half-term activity but as a relevant and rewarding way for family members to spend time together, whatever the time of year.

The new year-round website will launch in 2017, with central press and marketing campaigns to families centring around school holiday periods. Anyone will be able to upload their family arts events for free, with extra features and promotional opportunities available for those signed up to the Family Arts Standards.

Further partnerships with established and trusted family communities, websites and brands are being explored, as well as setting up a number of event feeds, with the aim of ensuring maximum marketing exposure to arts organisations listing their events.

As of 2017 there will be no centrally administered Family Arts Festival but you will be able to use the Festival branding on an individual basis should you wish to.
