Accessibility Statement for Family Arts Campaign

This is an accessibility statement from Family Arts Campaign.

Measures to support accessibility

Family Arts Campaign takes the following measures to ensure accessibility of Family Arts Campaign:

  • Include accessibility as part of our mission statement.
  • Include accessibility throughout our internal policies.
  • Employ formal accessibility quality assurance methods.

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. Family Arts Campaign is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.

Additional accessibility considerations

In addition to WCAG 2.1 Level AA Conformance, we have also added an accessibility toolbar to the website called ATbar.

ATbar allows site users to change the look and feel of webpages, increase and decrease font sizes, have text read aloud, use coloured overlays, readability and a dictionary to aid reading. It is a simple tool which is available for most popular browsers.
It is designed for those who may not have their assistive technologies to hand and need a quick way of accessing text on the screen with magnification and/or text to speech etc. It can help those with low vision, dyslexia and other reading difficulties, as well as those who may wish to just reduce the glare of black text on bright white backgrounds.

If you experience any accessibility issues with the website or would like additional assistance please get in touch with the campaign by emailing
