The Family Arts Campaign in Wales, 2015 – 2017

We’re delighted to let you know that Fieldwork, in partnership with the UK Family Arts Campaign team, will be running the Family Arts Campaign in Wales for the Arts Council of Wales for the period 2015 – 2017.

There is now significant momentum and interest in the aims of the campaign on which to build over the next two years, as well as some distinct programmes of activity that they’ll be developing.

One priority will focus on supporting the development of Family Arts Networks. Out of last year networks with roots in Swansea and in North Wales have got up and running and Fieldwork will be working to establish at least two further networks. They’ll also be encouraging links with the extensive network successfully established in England, sharing knowledge and good practice along the way.

After the success of Are We There Yet? last year, there’s a second national symposium planned for early 2016. From this we anticipate generating a collection of new creative development opportunities and exploring European links which are being nurtured through the Family Arts Campaign Europe initiative being led by the UK team.
