Assisted Performances

We’re pleased to have added an assisted performances listing feature to the Get Creative Family Arts Festival website. Families are able to search for performances with captioning, audio description, BSL interpretation, and Relaxed Performances (those specifically designed for people on the autistic spectrum).

Though the concept of Relaxed performances began in theatre, a similar environment can be recreated in any artform. To learn more, have a look at our compilation of accessibility resources, including a new case study on Birmingham Town Hall and Orchestra of the Swan’s Relaxed Concert that took place earlier this year.
