UK’s best family-friendly events and venues revealed

National awards celebrate the best family-friendly arts and culture events

We’re excited to let you know that the winners of the Fantastic for Families Awards 2020 were announced today via social media.

The Fantastic for Families Awards celebrate those who have made an outstanding contribution to family friendly arts and culture over the previous year.

Seven winners were crowned across four categories, from a shortlist of 30 organisations. Winners were decided by a panel of judges formed of leading figures and experts in arts and culture, from a shortlist of 30 cultural organisations.

And the winners are…

Audience Impact Award

• Dundee Contemporary Arts

Best Age-Friendly Cultural Organisation Award

• Leeds Playhouse

Best Family Event Award

• StrongWomen Science from Circus250
• The Little Prince from Luca Silvestrini’s Protein
• Imagine Children’s Festival from the Southbank Centre
• Bauhaus Baby Ballroom, produced by Liat and Co in partnership with Whitechapel Gallery
