Michael Morpurgo on experiencing culture as a family

Get Creative Family Arts Festival patron Michael Morpurgo has appeared on the BBC’s Mark Forrest evening show discussing family engagement in the arts.

As the patron of the UKs biggest festival for families, he was asked how we can create cultural experiences that are enjoyable for young and old simultaneously, why it’s important to take part in the arts collectively as a family, and how organisations can consider cost when planning events for a family audience.

You can listen to the thoughtful discussion here and if you’re not taking part in this month’s Festival yet, you can sign up for free on familyartsfestival.com.
