Tips and Inspiration for this year’s Festival

Whether you’ve already planned and uploaded your Get Creative Family Arts Festival event, or you’re still in the planning stages, we’ve put together the following to help you make the most out of taking part in this national festival from 9 October – 1 November 2015.

1. Top Tips: If you don’t have an event planned yet, check out our Top Tips on what to programme for the Festival.

2. Family Matters: Family Matters is a performance research project by Z-arts into what constitutes ‘family’ in modern society. Late last year, five different writers got up on stage as part of the Family Arts Festival to tell their own deeply personal stories. Get some inspiration by watching Part 3:

3. Festival Toolkit: download the participant’s toolkit for easy ways to promote your involvement in the Festival.

4. Get ready for the Festival by watching Part 1 of our free online training course, which gives you an overview of the family audience development process.

5. Toolkits: have a look at our other specially commissioned resources, including toolkits on how to effectively communicate content and how to price family events.
