Family Audiences from Act 2:
Full Report & Webinar

Indigo’s recent After the Interval and Act 2 surveys asked audience members about their attitudes to missing live events during Covid-19, how they were engaging with culture during lockdown and when they anticipated returning to live events in the future.

The Family Arts Campaign and Indigo have now worked together to look specifically at responses from family audiences – with some revealing results.

We can now share with you a full report on findings from Indigo’s Act 2 Family Audiences analysis. The report contains the full set of stats on family bookers along with a comparison to general audiences as a whole.

The report also includes views and opinions from family bookers on what’s important to them right now and a look at what activities they’d be interested in engaging with in the future.

For a summary of the headline findings, here’s a reminder of the five key areas you should consider when welcoming back family audiences.

Webinar: Welcoming Back Family Audiences

Thank you to those who attended and took part in our recent webinar Welcoming Back Family Audiences, which focused on the challenges and opportunities for engaging families when welcoming them back to arts and cultural experiences.

Thanks to the team at Indigo for presenting their recent research findings into family audiences during Covid-19. We also heard from a range of organisations on their approaches to engaging with families during this time, and discussed strategies for welcoming families back to cultural experiences.
