Nottingham

Nottingham Family Arts Network

A recently formed collective of 11 arts organisations, who share a passion and a belief in offering creative, inspiring, and quality arts experiences.

Nottingham is working towards becoming a UNICEF Child Friendly City with an extensive cultural offer for families. Understanding diverse audience needs, we can signpost our families to our network partner venues, to ensure an accessible, valued experience and a fun packed day for all families.

Members

A budding network with members from a variety of organisations and art forms including music, theatre, performing arts, circus skills, visual arts, and our Cultural Education Partner. We share knowledge and expertise to develop our programming and content, to better suit family engagement and embed cultural learning and creativity across the city.

Network Meetings

We meet quarterly to connect, support, and learn from each other. Sharing future events and developments, and to be aware of others programming so that we can provide a rich and varied offer of activities across the city. Ultimately, we aim to develop collaborative opportunities and fundraise as a network to engage families.

Shared Marketing

We are developing a marketing communication framework to enable a greater presence and united voice, to disseminate our activities across the city with the aim to increase family engagement in the arts.  We will work with, Nottingham City Council and ChalleNGe to establish dedicated webpages that are shared through the schools’ and family networks.
