Join national Get Creative Day on 2nd April

Join more than 1,000 Get Creative Champions and host a public event for Get Creative Day on 2nd April 2016. The Get Creative campaign is all about encouraging and celebrating everyday creativity, which will also be an important theme for this October’s Get Creative Family Arts Festival. So why not get involved in Get Creative Day?

Ways to get involved:

  • Organise an event for Get Creative Day or add a small-scale activity to an existing events. Our 10 Top Tips for organising a family arts event can help with this!
  • Brand something that’s already happening as part of Get Creative Day – any non-commercial activity with a participatory element can be part of the day. Make your activity stand out by labeling it as Get Creative.
  • Join the #bbcgetcreative social media campaign on Facebook and Twitter – why not challenge your visitors to a 60 minute creative activity?
  • Make sure to feed your activities and stories back to the BBC – they’re always looking for interesting material for the the popular Get Creative website.
