Gain feedback from families

The Family Arts Campaign has a feedback system which has previously proved very successful in gathering insight from family visitors. It is available for free to any organisation that is taking part in the Get Creative Family Arts Festival (9 October – 1 November 2015).

It’s important to note early on that audiences will provide feedback by rating your event on your Festival listings page. So, start directing audiences to that page now so they know where to return to once they’ve attended your event.

Your unique event URL will be familyartsfestival.com/event/[UniqueEventNumber]. To find your event number login to your event form in the Partner Area or search for your listing.

How can I let people know to rate my event?

As well as on your website, you can also include your listing URL in any materials you will use on the day of your event, such as a programme or flyer. Make sure that the iPad mini prize-draw is on audiences’ minds after your event by:

  • announcing it at the end of the performance
  • signposting it as they leave via posters or leaflets
  • leaving flyers on seats or in programmes
  • administering ratings on a tablet or smartphone using Front of House staff or volunteers
  • following-up with attenders after the event via email.
  • include the URL in programmes
  • posting on social media and your website
  • asking participating artists and collaborative organisations to do the same

As well as gaining feedback from families, you get the chance to win a Family Arts Festival Audience Choice Award.
