Are We There Yet? will explore the important, and growing, area of family arts activity in the run-up to this year’s Family Arts Festival. It will raise crucial questions about the context for the work, how we raise the quality of experience offered and what the policy priorities should be for the Arts Council of Wales over the coming years.

Are We There Yet? will develop the debate about the future of family arts work in Wales, challenge our definition and understanding of the work, aspire to a rich exchange of ideas between different artforms and lay foundations for enhanced interdisciplinary networking. In keeping with the ethos of family arts practice it will be an enjoyable and stimulating day.

Who’s it for?

Organisational leaders, programmers, curators, producers, people who make or lead family arts work, creative learning practitioners, arts development officers and anyone interested in how we talk to and communicate with family audiences.

Contributors

Contributors will be drawn from a range of artistic disciplines and environments, and with a variety of perspectives about family arts practice. Confirmed contributors and panelists will be listed on the events Eventbrite listing as they are confirmed over the coming weeks.
