Connect with other arts orgs working with older people

Flourishing Lives is a coalition of arts, health and wellbeing organisations taking a creative and aspirational approach to supporting richer, more independent lives for older people.

FL connect practitioners, day centres, arts organisations, and community outreach programmes so that knowledge, research and resources can be shared and the very highest level of practice can be established across the sector.

They provide free workshops and networking sessions for arts and health professionals, offering practical support on topics such as evaluation methods, fundraising and co-production.

They also deliver a CPD-accredited Relational Practice training course, which provides a practical framework and skill set to help you develop effective and genuine interpersonal connections with the people who engage with your services.

Their website, flourishinglives.org, offers a platform for organisations and practitioners to connect with each other and engage in thought leadership. Please do register on the forum and be a part of that conversation.

The Family Arts Campaign also hold a number of Age-Friendly resources on our website, including the Age-Friendly Standards.
