Celebrating Age webinar: diversifying engagement

Are you interested in cultural engagement for diverse older audiences?

Join us for a free Celebrating Age webinar on Tuesday 9th March, 2.30-4.30pm as we explore how arts & cultural organisations have changed and adapted their approach to engage diverse ethnic groups during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Family Arts Campaign are delighted to deliver this webinar in partnership with Arts Council England, hosted with the support of the AMA.

In this webinar you will learn more about:

  • The latest research relating to cultural engagement amongst older people from diverse backgrounds
  • How to continue to improve your engagement strategies through challenges resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic
  • New approaches using a blend of digital activities and in-person activities to develop engagement opportunities

The webinar will be interactive with space to pose questions, problems, examples of positive practice and a chance to discuss some of the challenges and opportunities faced.

The event will include case studies from Entelechy Arts, Midlands Art Centre, Sampad and the Centre for Chinese Contemporary Art.

Who is the session for?

Spaces are available on a first come-first served basis. A recording of the session will be available to download after the event has taken place.

This webinar is suitable for anyone working in the arts and culture sector with an interest in providing creative and cultural opportunities for all generations.

NB: This webinar is open to everyone. You do not need to receive Celebrating Age funding in order to take part.
