We’re pleased to offer bursaries for the Family Arts Leadership Symposium 2025, that will take place on Tuesday 18 March at Cecil Sharp House in London.

Bursaries help make our events more affordable for individuals and organisations who might not otherwise be able to get involved, as well as supporting those who are under-represented in the arts and cultural sector workforce to attend.

The Family Arts Leadership Symposium is a national event, taking place every two years to bring leaders together to discuss and change key issues relating to family arts engagement.

This year, we invite both established and aspiring leaders to join us to learn about and to strengthen the IMPACT of your work, your role, and your contribution to the cultural sector, and for families in need. You can find out more on the Family Arts Leadership Symposium Page.

Our bursaries aim to support: 

• Those who face barriers due to ethnicity, disability, gender identity or sexual orientation (LGBTQIA+). These spaces are part of our wider work towards creating a more inclusive sector.

And / Or:

• Those for whom cost is a prohibitive factor to attend the event. We want to support the organisations and individuals who are struggling during the cost of living crisis to continue their professional development by joining the event.

Bursary recipients will receive a significantly discounted ticket (£30 instead of full price (£125 / £185)) to attend the Family Arts Leadership Symposium.

Please note, bursaries are limited, and we have 20 spaces to offer. Applications must be submitted per person, and will be allocated based on the information given in the application form. If multiple people from your organisation would like to apply, then they are welcome to submit a separate application.

To apply for a Leadership Symposium Bursary, please complete the Bursary Application Form by 17 January 2025. We will inform the successful Bursary applicants as soon as possible.
