Bursaries Available

We’re excited to share that, thanks to the support of Art Fund, five bursaries are available for museum & gallery professionals to attend the Family Arts Conference 2026.

The Family Arts Conference is a national event taking place every two years, bringing family arts professionals together to learn, connect and be inspired. This year our theme of ‘Changemakers & Storytellers’ will focus on the power of turning stories into action, passion into progress, and art into impact. You can find out more on the Family Arts Conference 2026 page.

Art Fund is offering five bursaries to support museum and gallery professionals in attending the Family Arts Conference, with a focus on strengthening professional practice and sector development. The conference provides a platform for exploring current challenges, emerging trends, and innovative approaches that can shape the future of cultural institutions. By enabling wider access, these bursaries help professionals enhance their skills, broaden their networks, and bring back valuable learning to their organisations. This investment reflects Art Fund’s commitment to supporting the continued growth, adaptability, and resilience of the museum and gallery sector.

Family Arts Campaign are also offering 23 subsidised tickets, which are open to practitioners regardless of artform from across the UK. For more information visit our Bursaries page.

“We do not currently receive any core funding and therefore without support from a bursary, we would be unable to attend a conference like this one. I found it really useful – it is great to hear people talking about their work and to be inspired by their ideas and projects. ”
